Hooray for this easy craft project (idea and detailed instructions here: http://gingerbreadsnowflakes.com/node/169)

Add a drop or two of food coloring to about 1 Tbsp. of Mod Podge, paint a smooth coat onto any glass jar, and wait for it to dry.  The jars looked very messy and unattractive when wet, but as they dried the colors softened and became more transparent and the end result is great!  I made a bunch in several different colors and plan to use them as candleholders on our table and outside in the garden, and as give away vases for summer flower arrangements.  If you live within driving distance, maybe you’ll find one on your doorstep this summer!
